Sad news for the Note fans, however, it is not difficult to understand when we consider the current status of Samsung in Vietnam market today.
However, recently, Samsung has officially rejected this rumor. Nguyen Tri Thong, Communications Manager of Samsung Vietnam stated that there are no plans to sell the remodeled Note Note 7 in Vietnam. The reason is that Samsung's current line of smartphone products in Vietnam has covered all price segments, without the need for additional models.
Galaxy Note7 remodeled in Vietnam
This information can make many Note fans loyal, and are looking forward to the return of the Galaxy Note7 on the market feel a loss. Despite the launch of the Galaxy S8, the Note and Special Note7 are still in the hearts of many users, even after the fire incident. Although it does not own the Infinity Display, the Galaxy Note7 is still pretty much appreciated by its square-headed, masculine design. S-Pen is also a great supporter in the work.
With genuine products no longer distributed, users who want to own the machine will be forced to hunt in the portable market. Representatives of some stores confirmed that Korean NoteBook will be back to Vietnam from late May for about 10 million.
On the Samsung Vietnam side, this decision may not be pleasing to the user, but when considering the business strategy of the company is not really difficult to understand. Currently in the segment from 10-15 million, Samsung has five smartphone models in Vietnam, including some new models launched as Galaxy C9 Pro. Sales of the remodeled Galaxy Note 7 will cause confusion and have a direct impact on sales of these machines.
Not only that, the sales of two high-end models Galaxy S8 and S8 + are expected to decline if the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is available on the market. There are significantly cheaper prices, but what Samsung equipped for the Galaxy Note7 in terms of features is no less so than the Galaxy S8. This will cause users to rush to buy the Galaxy Note7 and forget the latest flagship of Samsung.
Finally, the refurbishment of the revamped Samsung Note 7 also helps Samsung avoid legal and safety issues related to users, especially in the aviation sector. Currently, Galaxy Note7 is still on the list of prohibited flights in Vietnam. The failure to sell the remodeled Galaxy Note 7 in Vietnam will help Samsung, as well as users, avoid misunderstandings.
